About Us

Buffalo Creations is a world class curio shop that has been in business for over 10 years now and still going strong. However, our curio shop journey has been way longer than that. We were formerly under a different name, Mama Africa Gift & Curio Shop, having operated first in Kisumu for a couple years before relocating to Naivasha Town where we were operational up until 2010. After a 5-year hiatus, we secured a spot in the in the newly built  Buffalo Mall in 2015, having rebranded as Buffalo Creations. We have grown exponentially ever since and have become a titan in the business.

We attribute this to our keen artistic eye for what quality art is. We source different handcrafted artefacts from very skilled and talented artists and craftsmen who know our standards and are able to meet them. We know what our customers like and what will draw their eye compelling them to buy.

We are also artists ourselves with our own art that we make. The owner in particular is a master carver who has some of his stunning pieces displayed in the shop as well. His vintage wooden clocks and stools, just to mention a few, are unique pieces you won’t find anywhere else. We boast in being unique and having a wide-ranging variety in our curation of art and souvenirs. There truly is something for everyone at our shop.
